Christmas Cat Colouring Pages for Kids: Printable Fun

If you have a small person at home who loves cats, drawing and anything to do with Christmas, a stack of Christmas cat colouring pages for kids is one of the easiest wins of the season. This guide rounds up the printable kids' Christmas activities from my little shop, Bakery Cats Co, where every cat is made out of a bake or a treat: a cat made out of a gingerbread biscuit, a cat made out of a Christmas pudding, a cat made out of a candy cane and more. There are colouring pages, stickers, cards and gift tags to print at home, plus one cosy stocking for the big night itself.
Everything below links straight to its Etsy listing, so you can look at every page before you buy. The printables are instant downloads: nothing comes in the post, you simply download the files and print them on your own printer.

Christmas cat colouring pages for kids
The Bakery Cats Christmas colouring and activity pack (£4.79) has ten printable pages, and it is the one I would start with. Six of them are colouring pages, each starring one cat with a big, friendly face and bold outlines:
- Gingerbreadcat, a cat made out of a gingerbread biscuit
- Candycanecat, a cat made out of a stripy candy cane
- Mincepiecat, a cat made out of a mince pie
- Puddingcat, a cat made out of a Christmas pudding
- Yulelogcat, a cat made out of a chocolate yule log
- Muffincat, a cat made out of a blueberry muffin, in its Christmas look
The other four pages are activities, which is where the pack really earns its keep on a long December afternoon:
- A Christmas maze. Help Gingerbreadcat find the way to Puddingcat.
- Spot the difference. Six differences to find between two Christmas pictures.
- Count the treats. Count how many of each cat are hiding on the page and write the numbers in the boxes.
- Design your own Bakery Cat. A blank cookie cat to decorate with icing, sprinkles and toppings, with lines to write what it is made out of and what it is called.
The answers for spot the difference and count the treats are printed small and upside down at the bottom of the page, so grown-ups can check without a fuss. The pack comes as two PDFs, one sized for A4 and one for US Letter, and the lines are thick and clean, so they suit crayons, colouring pencils and felt tips alike.
Printable kids' Christmas activities beyond colouring
Once the colouring is done, the same cats can carry on into the rest of the Christmas crafting.
- Christmas cat sticker sheets (£3.59). Two sheets with 24 stickers in total, each about 5.5 cm across, starring the Bakery Cats in their festive looks. Print them on A4 or US Letter sticker paper, or use the PNG files with a cutting machine. Children love decorating homemade cards, letters to Father Christmas and the front of their colouring pages with them.
- Christmas cards, 6-pack (£4.20). Six card designs starring Gingerbreadcat, Candycanecat, Mincepiecat, Puddingcat, Yulelogcat and Browniecat. Each one prints on a single sheet of A4 or US Letter and folds into a card, with the inside left blank. It is a lovely job for children: print, fold, then write a message to Grandma in their very best handwriting.
- Christmas gift tags (£3.59). Twelve cat designs with To and From lines. Cutting them out is good scissor practice for older children, and younger ones can do the writing while you do the snipping.
A cosy cat stocking for Christmas Eve
All that printing needs somewhere to end up, and for a child who loves cats there is the Snowy Bakery Christmas stocking (£27.99). It is a Santa stocking printed on both sides with the Snowy Bakery pattern: little cartoon cats made out of Christmas bakes and treats, scattered with snowflakes on berry red. It measures about 33 x 49 cm (13 x 19.3 inches), is made of soft faux suede and has a hanging loop for the mantelpiece or the end of the bed. It also matches the Snowy Bakery fleece blanket and the Snowy Bakery mug, if you like a theme.
The stocking is printed to order in the UK, and postage is shown on Etsy before you pay. Check the estimated delivery date on the listing before you order.
Tips for printing at home
- Use the right paper. Plain white printer paper is fine for colouring with pencils and crayons. If the children like felt tips, a thicker paper (120 to 160 gsm) stops the colour bleeding through.
- Print in black and white. The colouring and activity pages are black line art, so greyscale printing saves your colour ink for the stickers and cards.
- Print at 100% or "fit to page". That keeps the borders and the maze walls where they should be.
- Print spare copies. You can print the colouring pages as many times as you like for your own family, so siblings can each colour the same cat without arguing over who gets Puddingcat. That covers your own home use; please don't share or resell the files.
- Keep a few back. A couple of printed pages tucked into a bag are perfect for a café, a long car journey to see family or the slow bit after Christmas dinner.
Which printable suits which child?
- Little ones (roughly 3 to 5): the big, simple colouring pages and the sticker sheets. Bold outlines and big shapes are much easier for small hands.
- Older children (roughly 6 to 9): the maze, spot the difference and count the treats, then the design-your-own Bakery Cat page for the creative finish.
- Keen crafters of any age: the Christmas cards and gift tags, which turn colouring time into something they can give to someone else.
- Children who already have a favourite cat: the Christmas cats all have their own pages on this site, from Gingerbreadcat to Yulelogcat, so they can read about the cat they are colouring in.
A little about the shop
Bakery Cats Co is a tiny UK shop. Every cat is an original character made out of a bake or a treat, and the printables are designed in-house from the same cats you will find on the tees, mugs and blankets. The digital prices shown here are what you pay at checkout on Etsy, VAT included. If you have a question about any of the printables, or a file isn't behaving, send me a message through Etsy and I will sort it out.
Happy colouring, and a very merry Christmas from all the cats at the bakery.
