Cinnacat

Made of: An iced bun with a swirl of icing. The cosiest cat in the bakery.

Cinnacat is a cartoon cat made out of a warm, spiced iced bun, baked a bright cinnamon orange with a dollop of white icing on top, worn like a cosy hat. Of all the Bakery Cats, Cinnacat smells the most like a winter afternoon.

Warm, spicy and wonderfully sweet-natured, Cinnacat is happiest curled up somewhere snug once the leaves start to fall. Cinnacat is the one who puts the kettle on, finds an extra blanket and always knows exactly when the buns are ready, usually about a minute before the timer goes.

Favourite spot: the tea table by the big window, between the teapot and the jar of cinnamon sticks, with fairy lights overhead and a view of the snow when it finally comes.

Quirks: hums carols from October onwards, sneezes adorably near the nutmeg, and believes almost any problem can be solved with a cup of tea and an iced bun.

For Christmas, Cinnacat's icing becomes a snowy swirl finished with holly, a cinnamon stick, star anise and a sparkle of gold sugar. That is the festive look you can see here.
