Muffincat

Made of: A blueberry muffin. Small, sweet and bursting with blueberries.

Muffincat is a cartoon cat made out of a blueberry muffin, with a domed golden muffin-top head studded with blueberries, a pleated paper case for a body and little paws peeping out underneath. Small, sweet and bursting with blueberries.

Muffincat is the bakery's little sidekick: always trotting at someone's heels, always ready to help, and always the first to be picked up. Being small has never held Muffincat back. Give this cat a job and it will rise to the occasion every time, even if the job is mostly guarding a basket.

Favourite spot: the bottom shelf of the display cabinet, right at eye level for small visitors, so Muffincat can wave at every child who comes through the door.

Quirks: does a tiny hop when excited, cannot resist a basket to sit in, and gets very serious about who has the most blueberries.

For Christmas, Muffincat swaps the everyday look for a snowy icing cap with red and green sprinkles, a glacé cherry on top and a berry-red paper case. That is the festive look shown here, and the cherry is a point of great pride.
